They are the tip of the spear, the first institutions to be handed the truth and given a chance to act.
They made their choice.
KU chose to gaslight.
NKC chose to stonewall.
And both chose to protect reputations over a patient’s life.
Let that be a warning to the rest:
Every email we send is a test.
Every silence is a statement.
Every non-response gets recorded — permanently.
This isn’t politics.
This isn’t a difference of opinion.
This is a war over whether a woman’s life is worth more than the comfort of those who actively conspired to fail her.
And in that war, playing neutral is just another way to play coward or turn a blind eye for self-preservation.
History is full of people who “didn’t know.”
But they knew.
And now, so do you.
You don’t get to pretend anymore.
You don’t get to ignore what’s been handed to you.
You either take a stand for what is right —
Or you become another name on The List of Shame.
Status: Gaslighting Without Evidence. Failed the Integrity Test.
📅 Date of Initial Engagement: Summer 2023
🧠 Primary Contact: Rebecca Moburg, Patient Experience Coordinator
🗣️ Approach: Deliberately limited evidence provided. Verbal communication only. This was not an oversight — it was a test.
🧪 Strategic Intent:
KU was given the chance to act on the merit of the concerns alone — without needing documentation to believe Nicole. This was a controlled test of their integrity. Their job was to listen, follow up, and investigate in good faith.
🧾Moburg’s Response Letter:
View Moburg's Response Letter Below.
💬 Their Response:
Dismissal. Deflection. Soft gaslighting. Moburg minimized the concerns, offered nothing actionable, and made no move to investigate. KU failed the test — not because they didn’t have the records, but because they didn’t care to ask for them.
🧨 Significance:
Nicole’s life-threatening medical crisis was reframed as emotional exaggeration. They were given a golden opportunity to prove they cared. They chose reputation protection over patient protection.
📌 Public Accountability Status:
KU Health’s failure is now documented. Their inaction during this controlled engagement directly contributed to Nicole’s prolonged suffering. They were tested — and they failed.
Status: Received the Evidence. Chose Silence.
📅 Date of Formal Engagement: June 2023
📍 Primary Contact: Kerri Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer
📜 Delivery Method: In-person hand-delivery of printed documentation following active on-site advocacy
🧠 Strategic Intent:
NKCH was not passively approached — they were directly confronted. Aaron Clary made repeated attempts to engage the physicians involved in Nicole’s care, including showing up at their offices and confronting the institution face-to-face. He also called them out publicly on LinkedIn and made outspoken statements in their lobbies — naming individuals like Dr. Avery Abernathy for misrepresentation and obstruction of care.
Rather than meeting this concern with transparency or inquiry, NKCH responded with restriction — barring him from the premises before eventually granting a one-time meeting with COO Kerri Jenkins.
At that meeting, Aaron hand-delivered a formal diagnostic proposal, complete with MRI documentation from Ezra, outlining the suppressed adrenal mass, liver injury, and pattern of institutional evasion.
📁 What They Received:
🧨 Their Response:
This was not a security precaution. There was no incident, no threat, no disruption.
It was a warning: “We’ve heard enough. Leave.”
📆 Timing Detail:
This occurred prior to KU’s official response. NKCH had full access to the clinical theory, lab trends, and external imaging. The evidence was tangible. Their rejection was deliberate.
📌 Public Accountability Status:
North Kansas City Hospital was tested with clarity — and they failed that test in the open. They didn’t just ignore the evidence. They attempted to silence the messenger.
Their complicity is not hypothetical. It is now documented.
Some of these names have been emailed already. Some haven’t. But one thing is certain:
The clock is ticking.
We’ve made our case. The evidence is public.
Now they have a choice: take a stand or take the fall.
🔥 The Gaslight in Writing: Moburg’s Response
This was KU’s chance to show integrity.
Instead, they mailed us a PR statement wrapped in polite deflection.
Redactions protect privacy.
The tone? That’s all theirs.
🧨 “Let’s Not Roll the Dice Again”
This was North Kansas City Hospital’s opportunity to acknowledge harm.
To confront the gaslighting.
To show a shred of courage.
Instead, it required this—a direct, unambiguous statement spelling out the evidence, the trauma, and a path forward.
Every word was read aloud. No threats. Just truth.
They were asked to show humanity. And a deadline.
👉 This is the proposal they received. Read it. Then ask:
Why did they stay silent?
